AndArchitects created the logo for Power Court based on an element that was part of the design very early on, the ‘halo’; the floodlight structure that hovers over the pitch. An idea which also pays subtle homage to the hat factory and the halos of the cooling towers that previously inhabited the site. For years, these cooling towers would provide passengers and residents with a clear and identifiable landmark to orientate themselves within the town. The result is a clear icon for the town and the football club to be proud of. This not only reinforces the regeneration of the area but provides an aspirational beacon that will change the perception of Luton and its ambitions.
